Noteworthy Lena quotes by J.J. Abrams from the issue:
"Lena, who I felt was such a coup, was luminous as Irina." (About The Enemy Walks In)
"Lena did this incredible green screen stuff where she was on these wires and rigs. She was just remarkable, and again, beyond willing to do this stuff she was excited about. Even though we had an amazing stunt double do the actual fall from the building, what we did on the roof was build this parapet. She was standing up on a wall we had built. It was probably nine feet away from the edge of the building. There was a big pad behind her and, granted, there were people there to catch her, but if she had fallen back more than she should have, in theory she could've slipped right off. It was crazy. Lena blew my mind with her fearlessness." (About The Telling)
08.15.04 - Whaddaya know - I thought I already had on my site the photos from a 1990 Mirabella photoshoot Lena did, but thanks to Lisa, I found out, that, um, no, I don't have them on here. D'oh! I must've somehow left them out when I moved hosts a long while back. *smacks forehead*

I'm not sure if the younger kid in the pic is Lena or not, but it could be!
Also, Nina has found this pic of Lena's dad, Stig with Maj-Britt Nilsson in 1991, 1st time he acted in 33 years.

06.19.04 - Dear sweet Janis has honored this site with it's very own Fanlisting! Color me flattered. *snoogles Janis* I don't want to seem full of myself or anything so I'll let you read Janis' announcement:
It's not a surprise for Michelle as I asked her permission first, telling her I was a HUGE fan of her site and that I wanted to make a FL to show my appreciation.
She said yes, but little miss modest that she is, she doesn't want a fanfare about it in case it looks boastful - so here I am telling you about it myself.
If you love her site too and would say you are a fan, then I look forward to joining you to the members list.
Fantastic Tribute: Official Fanlisting of LenaOlin.net
*blushes* Thanks so much, Janis! And don't forget y'all, Janis also has the great Unbearable Lightness of Being Fanlisting, so have fun and join. :)

From ComingSoon.net:
***
"Thora Birch and Giovanni Ribisi have joined Lena Olin and Lynn Redgrave in Peter Medak's noirish The Triangle, reports Production Weekly.
Set in small-town America in 1962, the sexy thriller centers on steamy events that occur when a mother, her daughter and the mother's best friend all become involved with a charming drifter who happens onto the island.
The film, based on the short story "Aurora Island" by Marianne Gingher, is scheduled to shoot in Ireland this fall."
