Swedish summer is everything for Lena Olin.
I am feeling homesick all the time.
Lena Olin and Lasse Hallström want nothing more than move home to Sweden.
Soon it´s finally time.
Swedish actress Lena Olin 49(grrr!!), has been married to the director Lasse
Hallström, 58, for more then ten years. They are living with their daughter
Tora,9, and Lena´s son August, 18, in the neighborhood Bedford, outside New
York.
The home is decorated with Swedish furniture and the nature trees around the house
are birch and pine forest . The children´s upbringing differs from their
American friends., especially when it comes to the food.
A finicky mother
We have a housekeeper home since we are away so much and I am terribly
finicky with the food when it comes to the children. No one is supposed
to eat junk food. Everythinn has to be home made, Lena has said. She and
Lasse love Sweden and now Lena and their daughter Tora are home on summer
vacation. SE&HÖR met them during the tennis week in Båstad.
-We are homesick the whole time after moving home. But that depends on the
children, work and so on. She has travelled alone with their daughter to
Båstad. Husband had to fly back to New York due to shooting a movie.
There are the jobs
-Lasse was only here for a few days. And before he left he said: "God, what I
feel like is that I would like to move home", says Lena.
It is the same every time they are coming home. The problem is that the BIG
jobs are in the USA for Lasse. Then the children have their friends which is
hard to just tear oneself away from. Even so, Lena thinks that it is soon
going be the time.
- It wont take so much a long time before we are going to move, says Lena and
look like she is dreaming.
Many thank to Kakan for the translation!
