Observations of the SpyFam at Emmy Awards
Los Angeles, CA Sept. 21, 2003

*Huge thanks to Maddie and Aggie over at SD-1 for recapping their fantastic observations of Lena, Victor and Jen at the Emmys!*

"Well, our seats could not have been better for oogling the SpyFam all evening. We were seated directly above them!"

"As you can tell by all the photos, JG, VG, & LO were on the red carpet for quite a while. We were not allowed to linger there for very long, so we waited inside the doors to the Shrine. We had lots of stars walk past us, but we held out until the bitter end trying to catch a glimse of them walking in. NO.LUCK. Security shooed us to our seats."

"Once we found our seats, I noticed the "Raymond" group and remembered that someone posted that the SpyFam was close by. Aggie spotted Lena as she made her way to their seats."

"I am guessing that VG and JG got held up on the red carpet, since they took their seats quite a bit later than LO."

"Seriously, the best part was watching their interactions during the commercial breaks. It amazed me how everyone seemed to get up during the breaks--it was a bit chaotic, however, surprisingly things seem to calm down just before they came back live."

"OK, the best part by far --drumroll please--

After Victor was not announced as the winner (what a shame!!), LO tickled, caressed (how would you describe it, Mad?) VG's ear and then rubbed his shoulder.

It was the SWEETEST interaction ever!! Totally adorable. She was very touchy feely in the sweetest way both towards VG and JG."

"It was one of the sweetest gestures I have ever seen! She reached up from behind him and rubbed his left ear, then rubbed his left shoulder.

There were countless touches, kisses, and smiles between all three of them the entire evening."

"They were all very social. The first few commercial breaks, they talked mainly to each other. The fondness you saw in the photos was not a "contrivance". You could tell how much they really enjoyed being together."

"Apparently, they were rarely in their seats--many were taking smoke breaks or hanging out with their castmates. However, the SpyFam stayed seated until the very end. Lena's husband did get up at one point, but she stayed seated."

"I'm glad that someone took a pic of LO and JG talking during the commercial break--it was sweet. LO got up and knelt beside her and they yapped for the entire break (Victor was talking to some other actresses). They seem to be good friends and had alot to say to each other. In fact, they seem to still be carrying on their conversation as they sat back down for commercial break. I kind of wonder if they were making plans."

"Anyway, running a close second in adorableness happenned just prior to JG's category. VG leaned forward to speak to JG and as he was talking he was stroking up and down her right arm, as if he was trying to calm her."

"Well, let me first say that the SpyFam was by far the best looking set of actors at the Emmy's. Seriously, no one even came close. They were really stunning and let me just say that I want Lena's deltoids--they rock! (Her upper arms. They are super cut. I knew that from watching her on the screen, but in person they are even more impressive.)

It seemed like quite a few people came up to speak with Victor--everyone loves him."

"Lena was a kick to watch, also. First, she and Lasse look very much in love. She was always rearranging her hair. She would knot it up from behind, or move it from one shoulder to the other. She also moved up and back, and side to side in her seat as she conversed with not just VG, but others around her."

"Lena was actually cracking me up a few times--she was constantly playing with her hair--she and Lasse were very sweet and affectionate as well.

JG and VG left during the last commercial break--they all hugged and LO gave JG kisses on both cheeks--I am guessing that maybe VG and JG were going out after the show since they left together."

Nope, this site is not affiliated with Lena Olin, yadda yadda, all copyrights belong to original owners, yadda yadda, I'm just a fan sharing the Lena Lurve.
